Chairman Nguyen Hoang Anh receives leaders of Boeing Group in San Francisco

CMSC Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Commission for Management of State Capital at Enterprises (CMSC) hosted receptions for Mr. Jeremy Levin - Senior Director of Sales at Boeing Group, on September 18, in San Francisco (USA).
This is an event taking place on the sidelines of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's business trip to attend the high-level week of the United Nations General Assembly’s 78th session and bilateral activities in the United States.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, Chairman of CMSC, highly appreciated the history of cooperation and development between Boeing Group and Vietnam Airlines Company Limited, recognizing their support efforts for Vietnam Airlines in particular and the Vietnamese aviation industry in general.

Chairman Nguyen Hoang Anh affirmed that, as the state ownership representative agency at Vietnam Airlines, CMSC has been accompanying the development of the Vietnam National Airlines.
Chairman Nguyen Hoang Anh proposed that Boeing continue to expand its manufacturing and supply chain in Vietnam and early build its maintenance facility in the country while supporting Vietnamese partners in personnel training and technology transfer so that they can participate deeper in Boeing's supply chain.
Regarding the recent memorandum of understanding between Vietnam Airlines JSC and Boeing to purchase 50 737-MAX aircrafts, Chairman Nguyen Hoang Anh highly appreciated the efforts of the two companies and urged all parties to promote the next steps to ensure effectiveness, practicality and compliance with regulations. Chairman Nguyen Hoang Anh expected that Boeing and Vietnam Airlines will continue to cooperate and develop, contributing to the success of the comprehensive Vietnam - US strategic relationship.
Expressing his sincere thanks to Chairman Nguyen Hoang Anh, on behalf of Boeing Group, Mr. Jeremy Levin - Senior Director of Sales pledged that Boeing will continue to accompany Vietnam Airlines, not only in the field of investment in aircraft fleet development, but also in strategic research, technical projects, aviation maintenance, coaching and training. Boeing, in addition, will coordinate with Vietnam Airlines in construction and investment projects to provide international-class maintenance services to many airlines in the region.
On this occasion, Chairman Nguyen Hoang Anh also visited and worked with staff of the Vietnam Airlines’ Branch in San Francisco (USA).
