MobiFone signed a cooperation contract with Amazon Web Service

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of MobiFone were Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien, Chairman of the Board of Members and the other leaders of company.

Under the newly signed agreement, Amazon Web Services will total support and provide services on the AWS’s platform for MobiFone including consulting services for MobiFone and its customers, AWS Certification Training Services for MobiFone's employees, digital transformation and cloud computing solutions for government customer, SMEs and startup companies in various fields.

Chairman Nguyen Hoang Anh praised the cooperation between the two enterprises, stating that this relationship between a Vietnamese leading telecommunications and technology firm and an US great cloud computing enterprise will contribute to a strong growth in investment and trade exchange between the two countries and to create a new impulse to promote strong growth technology business in two countries. According to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, this cooperation, which will help MobiFone to accomplish a greater achievement, also offer the opportunity for AWS to understand and get closer to Vietnamese business community.

“MobiFone always appreciate the value that AWS’s bring to Vietnamese enterprises in digital transformation process. In fact, MobiFone has already become Amazon Partner Network member. With the signing of this cooperation agreement, it would be a foundation for AWS to support actively MobiFone to become a higher-level partner, which creates the premise for other Vietnamese enterprises to adapt to the digital transformation”, said Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien, Chairman of the Board of Members of MobiFone.

According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien, MobiFone, which plans to become one of Vietnamese leading digital technology enterprises by 2030, completed building a digital transformation strategy for a 5-year period, focusing on 6 main areas, including product development, infrastructure, data, internal governance, customer service and corporate culture.

According to plan, MobiFone continues transfer 7 important system databases into cloud computing platform. MobiFone will simplify a work process both in technical operations, in human resource management, and in finance and accounting to achieve the goal of digital transformation in organization’s business operations and the goal of automation and intelligentization. In this journey, cloud computing plays a role as an outstanding core technology to help MobiFone reach success.

Signing a cooperation agreement with AWS, MobiFone hopes to get benefit from an US leading cloud computing enterprise. The two sides will collaborate on the digital transformation roadmap, towards the goal of providing outstanding services to customers.
