The potential of cooperation with Energy Absolute Public highly appreciated

The CEO of the Energy Absolute Public Company Limited, Somphote Ahunai, said that Suntech Palm Oil, the forerunner of Energy Absolute, began producing biodiesel in 2006. Suntech Palm Oil was renamed “Energy Absolute” in 2008 and was listed on the securities market in 2013. The company has expanded its operations into the fields of renewable energy and accumulation of electric power. It has developed many renewable energy accumulation projects in Asian countries.

The representative of Energy Absolute Public expressed the company’s desire to cooperate with the Electricity of Vietnam Group (EVN) in some projects. The company also wants to participate in renewable energy projects and develop electric power accumulation technologies in Vietnam.

CMSC Chairman Nguyen Hoang Anh welcomed Energy Absolute Public’s willingness to cooperate and said that investment cooperation between Vietnamese and Thai businesses has contributed to boosting the relationship between the two countries. He believed that given cultural similarities and the geographical proximity between Vietnam and Thailand, cooperation between the two business communities will yield successful results.

Chairman Nguyen Hoang Anh said that with its capacity and technology, Energy Absolute Public’s proposal matches with renewable energy production trends as well as electric power accumulation solutions in Vietnam.

At the meeting with CMSC Vice Chairman Ho Sy Hung, Mr. Somphote Ahunai spoke about Energy Absolute Public’s production and business activities. In 2016, the company put into operation a factory in Chinese Taipei to research and create electric power accumulation technologies. Products of this factory include batteries for electric vehicles, high-speed trains and electric vehicle charging stations.

Mr. Somphote Ahunai said that Energy Absolute Public is piloting the development of solar energy production and electric power accumulation technologies in Con Dao to serve the needs of local residents.
